Caroline McCall

When she’s not writing about time traveling vikings or haunted chewing gum, is one half of Ireland’s bestselling erotica writer, Evie Hunter.

Caroline’s interest in books and writing first manifested when her mum sent her to the library to borrow “a nice hospital romance and something with aliens for your dad”.  Despite therapy, she still hasn’t been able to conquer her romance/aliens fetish.

Shortlisted for the Powers Short Story competition, Caroline went on to be published by  Ellora’s Cave in the USA.  In 2012, Along with the very naughty Eileen Gormley, she wrote The Pleasures of Winter – the first of the bestselling Pleasures series for Penguin/Random House.  Three more seasons followed in 2013 and 2014. Since then, her books have been translated into French, Italian, Czech and Japanese. Their latest Touch series is published by Ragz UK.
Caroline divides her time between holding down a day job, facilitating The Corner Table writers group and thinking up new ways to torture her characters. She lives in Dublin with a cat called Fiona and several hundred books.
